Kornat Island is the largest island in the archipelago, after which the entire group was named. Here, you can enjoy stunning viewpoints, take a walk to the remains of the Tureta Fortress from the 6th century, or simply soak in the silence and beauty of nature.

2️⃣ Cliffs of the Archipelago – “Crowns”

One of the most famous symbols of the Kornati Islands is the impressive cliffs, known as “crowns”, which rise up to 80 meters above the sea. These steep rock formations are the perfect spot for photography and for enjoying breathtaking views of the open Adriatic Sea.

3️⃣Levrnaka – The Most Beautiful Beach

On the island of Levrnaka, you’ll find one of the rare sandy beaches in the National Park – Lojena. This hidden lagoon is the perfect spot for swimming in turquoise waters and relaxing far away from the crowds.

4️⃣ Church of Our Lady of Tarac

For history and culture enthusiasts, we recommend visiting the Church of Our Lady of Tarac, which dates back to the Middle Ages and is located on Kornat Island. Every July, this church attracts pilgrims and sailors from all over Croatia.
